I'm off! --Marsha

Flew Calm Air from Winnipeg to Churchill this am. Orientation and general tour and a drive from the center into Churchill (population 800) and saw polar bears on the shore of Hudson Bay. Tomorrow we will spend the entire day in a tundra bus looking for polar bears. It gets dark here around 4 and we had a light snow. --Marsha

Rough ride in the tundra buggy today. It travels over the rocky frozen tundra where there really are no roads. Incredibly rough ride but we did not tip over or get stuck. --Marsha Saw 18 bears. Mama with 2 one-year-old cubs. Incredible. Had a nice dinner and we attend lectures each night which are being filmed for National Geographic. --Marsha
